This turtleneck is one of the easiest Burda patterns I’ve made – it came together in just a few hours. I used a lightweight jersey interlock to make this more of a layering piece and it is great! I used a vintage metal zipper down the back for a modern look. The body does run small, though.

The shirt dress is from a vintage denim and it is heavy enough to be worn more like a coat. I used a vintage Simplicity #5909, year 1973 pattern for it. I love this!

The belt is made from a cranberry vinyl and a 2016 Vogue #9222 pattern. This turned out awesome, especially the grommets. I used a matching color nail polish to finish off the raw edges!
