ZigZag Christmas table runner

another good quilting practice was this zigzag table runner, made with poundland fat quarters. I used an old bedsheet and a piece of cotton for the back which has the added advantage of using the rest of the year too. I followed a youtube tutorial and really enjoyed doing this!

      thanks Mary! I am really enjoying this and don’t know why I waited this long before trying it. My husband actually gave me a bigger cutting mat for Xmas, cos he saw me struggling trying to cut all my pieces accurately without cutting the dining room table in half, hahahaha, of course the cynic in me thinks he was more worried about the table than me :-))
      the fabric for this came from poundland, which stupidly I forgot to prewash, but I only posted the “before” picture here, because I was too embarrassed to show the “after” picture, lol xx
