Yellow-striped sundress

Added Feb 10, 2010

Somewhere, France

I used a pattern from the December issue of a French crafts magazine called “Fait Main” for this dress. It started as a catastrophy because of the original neckline (a horrible sports like halter top) but I didn’t want to waste my beloved fabric so I redrafted the top and now I’m really pleased with the result! I wasn’t very keen on the fit with the princess seams but eventually they make the dress quite comfy.

Very cute! I wish I could wear yellow that well. Yellow stripes just shout out “summer” to me.
