Description

I made this jacket to test the pattern. And so happy that the jacket turned out so nicely. I used the pattern from 10/2013#106 size 36 with modification. I lengthen the jacket until the middle of my thigh, I added self cover buttons and changed the original pockets to in-seam pockets.

More details of this jacket blogged here, http://velvetribbonsew.blogspot.com/2015/01/wool-jacket.html

Material Notes

2.5 yards of brushed wool in grey color, 2.5 yards of silk satin in grey color, fusible interfacing, 5 self cover buttons, 5 snap fastener, self made shoulder pads and same color of thread.

It looks so nice and cosy. The pockets are perfect. You prepared buttons with using your fabrics, didn’t you? You look beautiful wearing it, it fits you perfectly.

Luv it! The buttons are large, so good idea to use the large snaps. Much better than store bought buttons…
