A lace trim blouse with pintucks on the front and back yoke and raglan sleeves.

I found this blouse to be trickier and more time consuming to make than I first thought it would be. it involves pintucks and matching these up when the two halves of the front and back yokes are joined together and also involves handstitching the lace to the front and back yoke pieces. I also did French seams on all seams. If you enjoy spending extra time on these details, then this project is for you.

I’m happy with the result but at times during the making of it, thought that I’d bitten off more than I could chew!

The only alteration that I made to the pattern was to leave off the lace on the neck edge, mainly because I didn’t have enough lace for this.

You did an EXCELLENT job on this blouse! I visited your blog and saw more detailed images…even with the challenge you faced, you beautifully finished this garment. Well done! It’s brilliant.
