I’d love to post a how-to if I could ever get computer savvy enough to figure out how that’s done. any helpful tips on creating/posting how-to’s are welcome :) My quick suggestion for bags like the first and third bags pictured here are to use the Charlie Bag pattern that Burda made. I scaled it down to a smaller size for this bag and cut off the straps and replaced them with the simple 1-inch cotton webbing straps—it makes the process shorter than actually making the Charlie Bag straps, I think. There used to be some modified versions of the Charlie Bag that members offered for instructions on how to add lining to the Charlie Bag—that’s basically what the first and third bags are. I just used a jean skirt for the exterior and a repurposed pillow case for the interior lining. With the middle bag pictured, I used the same pattern but added a panel to make it a deeper and bigger bag. I know that’s not terribly helpful, but it’s something, I guess.
