V-Neck Jersey Top with Re-Drafted Sleeves

Added Aug 3, 2017

St. Louis, Misso...

I love how easy to sew and comfy this top is – yet still dressy and different! I went a size up in this so it wouldn’t be skin tight as it seemed to run small. I re-drafted the very basic sleeves of the original design to have darted gathers pouf out above the cuffs. I think this compliments and mirrors the body of the blouse better. This top is pretty much a copy of a very 1930s style! For some weird reason, even though the shirt version of this pattern is listed on Burda’s site here (as the “V-Neck Jersey Shirt” #108, 06/2010), I can only link to the dress version.
