Up-cycled vinyl and canvass bag

Aylesbury, Unite...

I made this bag from 2 full size classic music Decca produced vinyl LPs.

The body of the bag is made of Ikea birds fabric fully backed up with white canvass. The handles are made from the same fabric.

The bag is provided with a small black zip for easy access.

Quite unique, I would say :-)

Do not be fooled, a lot of work goes into this, think the holes you need to drill through those LPs and then stitching the canvass to the plastic. A tough one, I promise!

Looks great. I’d be scared to break the records though ;)

I love this! I’ve seen a a few around blogs, but yours is m favorite. I want to make one, but the drilling and so on has put me off.

Oh, my father did the drilling and no, it doesn’t work with the hole punch. I will be honest, I still cannot feel my fingers. It is only worth it if you make it for yourself!
