For my 6th project in my ND1 (national diploma year 1) in fashion and textiles, i was given the brief of creating a lighting instillation which portrays a pacific emotion which would be reinforced by my choice of colour pallet and the way in which the light is diffused , it also had to be inspired by the works of either: Wassily Kandinsky, Frank Stella,or, Howard Hodgkin. as i was greatly inspired by Kandinskys “the singer” and the “fair well” I chose to portray a moody atmospheric sense of emotion.
the brief also stated that the lighting instillation should be for a exhibition, Because of this I intended My light to be quite ‘out there’ with haphazerd shape shape of my lighting instillation as well as the little amount of light that is produced.
I am pleased with how the light has turned out and post my grade on hear after my project has been marked.
(iv had alot of truble trying to upload images on to hear so thats why there not the best quality)
