Description

Upcycled from two ugly skirts! The patterned fabric is much prettier as a little girls dress. Maroon corduroy on top and a cotton blend with the pretty turquoise lace trim around the bottom hem. I just love how the two daisy shoulder buttons keep the flowery look altogether! The contrasting sunny yellow cotton knit lining actually coordinates with the yellow centers of the flowers on the pattern, although you may not be able to tell that detail from the pictures.

Hi, I love the way and place you used the two fabrics. Very nice dress.

Thank you! It was good luck that the maroon corduroy mini coordinated with such a busy pattern.

So cute! :) The fabric really looks better as toddler dress than the two original skirts! Great idea!
