I made this over the summer just for fun :) I also added some pockets inside for pens, lip balm, and cellphone, but I didn’t add the extra long strap

Material Notes

corduroy and some seersucker type fabric on the inside

This is so lovely – being an adoptive Yorkshire lass I’m going to have to make one for myself and my friends so they don’t steal mine! It’s not actually the Tudor rose – that is red and white. This is the York Rose which is all white. An all red one is the Lancaster Rose. You get the Tudor Rose from when Henry VII (House of Lancaster) married his wife (House of York) ending the War of the Roses and creating the Tudor Dynasty. Oh my god I can’t believe I remember so much from school history!! I’m such a geek!!!

    Thanks for sharing this pattern!

Also as a side note, wasn’t Princess Diana also known as the Tudor Rose?

Just wondering if anyone knows, something kicked on in my brain when I saw the name of this project.
