The M.C. Escher Shirt

Added Jul 27, 2012

Groningen, Nethe...

The most interesting ting about this shirt is probably not the design but the patterned fabric! It reminds me of Eschers sketches of impossible staircases, and the impossible cube. I used the Renfrew as a sloper and drew some batwing sleeves so I wouldn’t have t deal with setting in sleeves. I figured this interesting pattern just needed a simple design!

Perfect pattern for such wonderful fabric. You chose well by sewing the fabric this way.
