The Little Black Lace Dress mix with Cream

Added Mar 29, 2013

Saying good bye is the hardest thing one can do when a loved one as passed. This is the not so completely little black lace dress that I design and wore to my co-worker mother funeral over the weekend.

It is a shift dress with an attractive raised waist seam, slim shape and extended shoulders. I combine the black stretch lace with a shimmery jersey underneath as the lining

The stretch lace was very difficult to work with as it frays easily when cut but in the end the result was all worth the time and effort.

I love your pattern Kisses… even though you wore it on such a sad occasion I think it’s a dress that could be worn for many affairs which gives it more appeal….. I have yet to do a lace dress, but yours has given me a little more inspiration to start thinking about my own version…
