The Eyes See All

I made all 3 of these items from 3 different patterns. The skirt was a Butterick pattern no.6466, the bolero was Simplicity pattern no.2478 and the bag was a Simplicity pattern no.4116. I had six yards of material to work with which was 45in wide. It was a bit of a job getting all the pieces to line up and look symmetrical but I got there in the end, there was a lot of wastage though.

LOL I’m not sure if that is a good or a bad wow. I know it’s a bit loud but some people like that sort of thing, I’ve sold loads in similar prints.

Wow! As in GOOD! I love that it’s ethnic, but not at the same time. It’s great! And wants even more wonderful about it, is the fact that they are separate pieces, so you can where them independently with other solids. Beautiful job well done.

Thanks for the comment. No I made it to sell. African prints are selling really well at the moment. I’m lucky to have an African fabric shop near by where I live which imports most most of their fabric from Holland.
