West Chicago, Il...

Fitted jacket with beaded lace trim at collar, cuffs, and pockets. Loosley woven boucle’ in creams and beiges was hand quilted to the lining in a “Chanel Inspired technique”. Princess seams and edges are re-embroidered with ombre’d thread in browns. Feels like a sweater, a joy to wear, and versatile as well.

Material Notes

mixed fiber boucle’, silk charmeuse lining , beaded and sequined alencon lace, chantilly lace, silk embroidery thread, bone buttons

Thanks, A. I love the results, but that ombre’ embroidery thread is a nightmare to work with. My machine hates it, but once I started, I had to continue. :))

Thanks, G. It is like wearing a sweater, but the tailoring holds up. Best of both worlds!
