Added Mar 7, 2008

by sunnilj9

Cedar City, Utah...

This is a jacket I made from McCalls pattern M5531. I modified the pattern by eliminating the flap that came down the front center. I also added some flap pockets to the front of the jacket. I love this jacket! So comfortable! Hope you enjoy!

Material Notes

Fabric used for body: 100% Cotton from Etsuko Furuya’s line Echino
Lining: 100% Cotton Swiss Dot
Thread, Self-Cover Buttons, Interfacing

Thank you! Didn’t take too long to make actually. After I altered the pattern I decided to make a “tester” out of muslin to make sure all went well. To make the actual jacket took about 2 weeks.
