Take a Bow (Jersey)

Added Oct 27, 2013

Kingston, Jamaica

This dress is made from another piece of a small drapery fabric that has patterned velvet mixed with jersey. This is a very simple design that I free handling made without a pattern. I try to balance out the jersey by placing it around the sleeves and making the collar out of it. Elastic is at the waist for shaping it underneath the bust. The front and back top is made from the patterned velvet fabric.

The dress is not perfect but I happy because it is completely wearable and it also motivates me to do my best next time.

Thanks for looking

You balanced the fabrics and the pattern well, kisses. And the choice of the fabrics is nice, and I like the colourstyle. And, by the way, all of us want and need to make simple things now and then just because we are in a mood to do such things:-)
