This is my dress from Casey’s Swing Dress Sew Along. I am so glad to have this dress completed. Vintage style has recently caught my attention, so it is fun to have a dress that falls in that category.

Material Notes

Dress is wool blend, lace hem, some ribbon binding.

looks lovely – well done! Really effective in that colour – it’s nice to see a vintage style that isn’t in the typical fine-flower print. Very refreshing, good for you!

Simple and stylish! Good job on the dress! I didn’t think about how just simple black would work so well. :)

Oh thank you! I really feel like I accomplished something with this dress. I’ve had the shoes forever and they have seen better days. Every time I go shopping I try to find something similar to replace them – but no such luck; so I will wear them until they can’t be called shoes any longer. You are right about the addiction, already looking forward to my next vintage project :)
