Kirkland, Washin...

I wanted a gingham dress since i dont know when (really long time) and one fine day the inspiration struck me while i was browsing through pinterest. I finally knew what kind I wanted. Next thing was creating a pattern- something i used to find really interesting during my school days and now seems like a long drawn process. Anyways I figured i cud use some help with it and altered the Sweetheart Dress 04/2013 #116 pattern to get what I wanted. I straightened out the front neckline and added an inch to it. The actual pattern has neckline gapping issue.
Viola!!! I am proud of the end results.
(PS: I gained a few pounds after i put the dress together :D)

Material Notes

100% cotton gingham

Your dress looks good. Tip: solve neckline gaping by folding out pinch of fabric from bust point to nearest point on neckline. Slash dart to bust point & open up dart until pattern lies flat.
