Spring Cami - Spring 2014

I have a diamond in the rough to share with you today, Simplicity 1615. A simple top, but so cute and wearable. The trick is realizing this pattern’s potential. The cover art is a total snooze, blends right into the back ground of a Simplicity pattern catalog. Had I not stumbled upon this pattern review I would have passed it by and never been the wiser. I’m especially excited about the cut of the back which makes it just a little more exciting than your classic cami.

Haha, wow, you’re right about this pattern. It’s so boring from the envelope I’d have never guessed there’s a simple and sophisticated tank top inside. This looks really nice in the fabric you chose. Like something you’d pay $50 for at Anthropologie! Yikes!

This is so pretty and looks great. Been looking for a perfect cami top to make for summer and think this may well be it! Love the fabric too.

Great top and thanks for the Pattern Review reference to my top :) I too love this pattern even though it’s kind of a sleeper. I should make it again, but cut a size or two smaller. I really love the printed fabric that you used! Nice job!

Well you get all the credit because this tank wouldn’t exist if I hadn’t copied you. :)
