I found my baby several times uncovered at the night, so I decided to sew her a sleep bag. Yes, a bit large, but she’s growing so fast :)

And this was my very first sewing project :)

Hahaahahah: I laughed so hard when I saw this photo! Your baby has this insanely cute “puzzled” look on its face.

This is a very sweet idea and it also seems very safe for the child. Good thinking!

That’s lovely! My baby is growing out of his 0-6 month one so I’d like to make him a bigger one. What did you use for a lining? And did you add anything in between layers to make it warmer? (Can you tell I’m a complete novice?!!)

Hi, abbyzeeble, I’m a novice too, and my sewing vocabulary in english is not good enough yet, so I don’t know the name of the type of the fabric I used, sorry.

I bought this ‘sandwich’ fabric, warm batting between two layers of cotton. Anyway, if someone told me if it has a name, I would be grateful.

Of course I had been searching for patterns before I started with it, but finally I drew it myself. Maybe you can’t see on the pic, but I know, that I made some stupid mistakes (f.e. with the bias tape) – anyway, it works :) Thank you for your congrats, again!
