Skulls/Crossbones, Little Devil/Sweet Angel and more Checkbo...

San Marcos, Cali...

These were so much fun to make just because of the fabric theme. I dragged my 6 yr old boy with me on my last fabric store trip (he hates it in there) and he told me I MUST buy the skulls & crossbones fabric. The 1st one I made sold quickly so I made another

I doubled the interfacing on the 1st two for extra sturdiness. Not sure if I like doing that or not.

RE: That last one. I really loved the colours that I chose, unfortunately, it’s ruined, well somewhat. Having a 22 month old clinging on your leg should have hinted me to stop and continue when she was napping. The business/credit card pockets are way too deep so if you actually pushed your card in all the way, it will not be seen. Boo and Boo again. Wondering if to put it for sale in the almost perfect section or just give it away.

Material Notes

I hate when that happens :( Could you add another line of decorative stitching across that section so that the card pockets aren’t so deep and use the larger pocket to hold receipts instead of the register? Just an idea… I think you should try to sell it. When I was doing ceramics, I often had offers to buy or swap for my ‘discards’ which I thought were junk – you never know. Of course a gift is always a good choice too.

I thought about doing that but then that extra row of stitching will show up on the outside and I’m not sure how cool that would look ;-) I’ll look it over and see. And you’re so right. I may be thinking how awful this is but may be there is someone who wouldn’t mind having their cards hidden. I put it in my shop in the Oops section today. hehehehe so we’ll see if I get any takers.
