"Skaj" bag

I used the pattern of a wallet to make this bag…I just largened it! Its not a big bag…but you can put anything inside it that you need….it’s great for going out…you can wear it with or without the shoulder strap.
This is my first bag made out of “skaj” – it’s artificial leather (I think it’s called vinil on english but I’m not sure)…and it was very annoying ;) because my machine can not sew directly over the material…it took me awhile to figure out to underlay the paper between the matrial and the parts of the sewing machine….afterwards it was easy!

Material Notes

Brick red “skaj”, black cotton for internal fabric with metal zippers…

Nice work. This material is called “skaj” in Polish too. It’s funny how similar some words are.

Thank you very much…I used the pattern that is on this Burda site (Organizer wallet) in “Projects you can make (11 page)” but I didnt manage to marked it as a project based on an existing project/pattern on BurdaStyle….I don’t know why but I can’t. Do you know who to do that? ;)
