Description

I made this lovely little crossover draped top using New Look 6303 pattern. I’ve made the top before in the long sleeve version, so the cutting and sewing went pretty fast and easy. I made the neck and sleeve binding out of the same fabric, and hand sewed them to the inside for the nicest finish.

I used the wrong, non-shiny side, of a lovely silk charmeuse I had in my fabric stash as I didn’t want this top to be shiny, although it would still have been pretty.

Now, I just need to find, or better yet, make my own, little camisole to wear underneath this top as when a breeze cam along, the top blew open if front and showed my bra. So, back to the fabric store for me to find something pretty to make a camisole for myself!
