Description

The material is very cosy and warm, but the style is a bit short for cold days plus, even though I love the colou, it is a bit restrictring with other colours.

I love this! Was the leather difficult to sew through??

thanks Lindsay! I should have mentioned, it wasn’t real leather, but “faux leather” with a bit of stretch to it, used for some leggings which I loved so much that I’d worn them to death and decided rather than throw away I could cut up and use for this jacket. When I originally did the leggings I found the fabric surprisingly easy to work with and again so when doing the jacket :-))

I bet the jacket would look fab with those leggings. I want to try to find some faux leather actually as I have just bought a bolero pattern. But last time I tried with somthing similar my machine struggled but I think that was before I got my old vintage machines which go through anything. Fingers crossed I have the success you had!

Great Jacket, I love bright colours for winter and the leather trim makes it really cool.

thanks a lot Beccki! I fell in love with this colour straight away, but not so sure it looks good with any other colours other than black or that shade of red, especially since it is so short :-(
But I like it, and like you say, the leather trim makes a big difference.
