Shirt with long sleves

Added Sep 17, 2013

by Ellen Hatteland

Nedre Vats, Norway

This shirt is based on pattern #103A Burda 07/2011. I have used winter jersey and I made a piping around the neck. I used some shiny polyester at the end of the sleves and sewed a rubberband in the seam to make the sleeves a little fluffy. The V-neck was a little low for me so I adjusted this a bit and I have also shortened the lenght of the shirt a bit as well :)

Material Notes

Jersey and polyester

This is a very beautiful version of this pattern. I’ve used this as well a long time ago… and i guess I should redo it, somehow – like your version. I like it a lot!

You make me surprised and amazed every time with your ideas, Hellen! It would never in my life occur to me to combinate jersey with shining polyester and this colour just kills on the spot! You are very creative:-)

This is lovely! I like its simplicity, but the contrast fabric details take it up a notch, so it’s really versatile in a casual/formal sense – nice job!
