Description

Or maybe just a wreck, I can’t quite decide. I’m in between projects right now until I can make a trip to the fabric store, yet I couldn’t keep myself from sewing. This is my first attempt to work without the guidance of a pattern. Although I achieved what I had originally envisioned, I don’t think I favor it much! This one may need to go sleeveless.

Very pretty blouse. The sleeves are fine. I like it just as it is.

I loooooove that fabric! The sleeve slits are interesting so I say keep them, but in the picture of you wearing it I notice how high the front neckline is. For such a fun and summery top I would personally prefer a lower or slitted front neckline.

Thanks for the feedback, I see what you mean. I think a lower neckline might help as well.

Very cute, and I like it with the sleeves – very summery. Where do you find all these cool fabrics?

I found this faric on ebay. It was listed as vintage, but I’m not so sure. I buy a lot of vintage textiles and this fabric seemed too crisp to be of many years. I’m glad you like it. I love the print too!

I really really like it!! the fabric is sooo adorable! either way sleeveless or like this is fabulous! this way though its a little different and adds a little more to the eye! :) I’m sure if what your style is, but I would pair it with dark denim capris and a vintage necklace or bracelet.

Actually pretty darn cute. I can see this with some white 50’s-y capri pants or a skirt.

You know what? I like sleeves design, it reminds me a sail which is perfect for this fabric. Also tied cuffs are well matched to the bottom line bow. I do like it!!
