Sherlock Holmes Cape

Enschede, Nether...

This apart cape appeared in Burda Magazine of Augus 07.
I made it of a differente fabric they suggested. I used this kind of wol and I found this very nice imitatie wooden buttons.
I didn’t made the belt as the original has because the fabric just runned out :) so I wear it with different kind of leather belts and I think it looks much better than wearing a same fabric belt.
I change the shape of the collar (made the corners round). This is the result. It is an eyecatcher piece of wardrobe when you are out.

Material Notes

Wol and satin for the inside

Burda Mode !!! great patterns on that issue

AnaJan, I agree with you. The fabric of the original one is absolutely wrong for this model. I like the fabric you’ve chosen. Milkyway, You look chic always!

The cape looks so much better than the original one! I really like it. I’m considering to make me one, now that I’ve seen yours.

This issue is great yes!! I like one dress there, in the fabric of this cape! You made a nice job with this pattern too, and I like to see with the different belt!
