Description

This is the second time I’ve made this pattern. It’s easy and the outcome is lovely. I love patterns that are simple but adaptable to variation. This pattern can probably be made in any fabric, different trims and piping at the hem and seams can make a project very individualized.

For this project I added green piping at the neck and waist seams. I lined the skirt and added a green band to the underskirt and green bias tape to the top skirt layer. I cut the back skirt piece extra wide and straight instead of slanted, and added elastic instead of a zipper.

The girl is almost 8 and average size, I cut size 128 and it fits well with just a bit of room to grow.

Material Notes
