Description

For a local theatre company i drafted and made up 7 of these stretch dresses. Then the fun began…500 hand sewn sequins. Each was sewn on, then secured, then the next one was hand sewn on without cutting the threads. It was dam time consuming and i watched alot of movies and didnt take in any of them.

So much patients. Blergh. Never again. Also, kept getting the threads caught on my new wrist piercing ;-)

P.s. If there is an easy way to do this….someone please let me know!! Im sure the way i did it must have been the easiest way…but if there is another way id love to know!

Ok, the work might have been a drag, but the dress is glorious!

Being involved with a theatre company myself, I understand the work you have put in but I think you do forget this when you see how good they look on stage and all the great comments and thanks you receive from the cast and audience. Great job. I don’t know an easier way sorry.

Poor you :( but the dress looks so cute! I usually watch Gilmore Girls while hand sewing, find them quite soothing :)

Really pretty, well done! And congratulations on your patience.
