sage rayon blouse

Added Jan 5, 2015

Beograd, Serbia

blouse made using dress pattern (burda 10/2014, #128)
i traced only bodice pieces,
and modified the back a little bit, to make it longer
front ended up being way to short,
but i like the blouse anyways, and wear it a lot
(usually with camisole underneath, so i’m not flashing my stomach to the world)
skipped the collar, i had it cut actually
but decided i like the blouse better without it
fabric is sage colored rayon from remnants bin
rayon challis or something similar
really drapey and nice to the skin
but it wrinkles way too fast
blouse closes with sew in metal snaps
and neckline is finished with facings
while sleeves and bottom hems are simple double turned hems
see more pics on my blog mokosha

Material Notes

1.3m rayon
3 small sew in snaps

This is lovely and reminds me of a DVF blouse from couple seasons ago. If I remember that blouse had big wrap ties like 4" or so wide at the hem, have any fabric left because that would help with the front length?

I love the blouse. It makes me want to sew it right now, even though I’m not the blouse type at all! The pants? Did you sew them as well? They are great too!
