This is the second corset I make, but the first one that is reversible.

You can dress it down, like in these pictures, or put on a dressy skirt and look elegant.

I found a great tutorial – draft a corset from a list of measurements.
I drafted the pattern in Illustrator – here is a useful tutorial for drafting a pattern with Illustrator.

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter
Garment Type
Casual, Evening Wear, Romantic
Cotton, Eyelet, Lace/Sequins

my friend is modelling the corset – it was made for her.
it’s really easy for her to match everything she has – she only wears shades of purple :))

Great job. It looks amazing. I always dreamed of making a corset, but I was scared of its complexity. Yours looks simple. Being reversible makes it more amazing.

It takes a lot of time, drafting the pattern and cutting all the necessary pieces – it has 9 pieces on one side, and you may want to use some interfacing (so even more pieces), but after drafting and cutting and interfacing, it goes really fast.
Goodluck if you decide to make one. :)
