Retro Embroidered Jeans

These jeans were for my October Mash Up! I knew I had to make bottoms since October was Pants Month, and I love the way these turned out. I used #113 from the 10/2017 issue and added embroidery along the side seams of one of the pant legs. To utilize the cool frayed selvedge edge of my denim, I drafted and attached little cuffs at the hems.

I made a size 38 and they have a great fit. The natural waistline is nice, and I’m also getting used to a more loose fitting pant leg like these that are straight down from the hip. Love these pants, and I know I’m going to get a lot of wear out of them this fall!
