this is another piece I created for my costume. I molded and formed the dark brown leather on a clay block (I had never done anything like that before) and then glued the lighter leather in place before setting the studs. I got the idea from this website: www.got-steam.com. There wasn’t any sewing involved, so if this is not allowed, please feel free to delete!

    LOVE IT!

    My old housemate and I did a steampunk fashion show a year or so ago. The only work I’ve tried with leather was a really steam mono-goggle.

    it’s allowed, so far as i can tell! lots of people post wire jewelry and knitting and other non-sewing things. this stuff you do looks like something my little brother (well, he’s 20, so not so “little” anymore) would be totally into. way to make your own stuff, its neat.
