Refashioned Chiffon Vest - Useless, but Pretty!

I think making a vest from chiffon kind of defeats the purpose of the vest – it’s supposed to keep you warm, right? But this was such an easy way to refashion a mock wrap dress that I decided to try it out. It turned out really pretty and I think this makes up for the fact that it has no practical use. Am I setting up a double standard here? I never quibble about jewelry and it doesn’t have a practical use either. For that matter, a hat tipped back on my head is also pretty useless… Anyways, tell me if you think about this too – I hope I’m not the only one. And if you want, I put up a post with more sewing details and less drivel about practicality; it’s here on Button & Snap blog.

It’s lovely and you’ve styled it well, shorts would look great with the bottom section? X
