I have combined two easy patterns, a pleated skirt (thanks to the versatility of the slub, there was no need to add any lining!) and a crepe blouse pattern I found in an older Burda magazine (02/2014).

No creases, and soft, thick knit to keep you warm and comfortable.

Red & black slub from Bellose Fabrics.
Jewelled buttons – Ebay
Black turtle neck – Dorothee Schumacher
Over the knee boots Simple Creative Products®

The skirt features two front box pleats, straight back.
The top has a three – piece sleeve and two back pleats. Comfortable / large fit.

Material Notes

red and black knit jersey, slub

I like your skirt in the soft drapy fabric. Nicer than the magazine.

That is very kind, thank you. Not sure if nicer than the magazine but definitely quicker and easier to make!

Thank you, Ellen. I have not had any time to make anything lately… Good news about you, though!! I was NEARLY on the British sewing bee. How exciting, fingers crossed you go all the way to the final! This show will change your life forever xx
