Singapore, Singa...

The yellow skirt is from an older Burda pattern and I made it rather a long time ago now, but I still love it! I had a little trouble with the welt pockets, but that may just have been because I was not very experienced when I started this skirt. The pockets are lined with a lighter green and white cotton and the buttonhole facing is also green to match! I used an odd assortment of wooden buttons to close the skirt and a trouser closure at the top. My shirt is made using a printed cotton which I bought in Tokyo. I used Wiksten’s Tova pattern to construct it and it is lovely and light in this humidity! For more information on both of these projects, please see my blog

Thank you, Liliv! Me too! Midi-length skirts are perfect for dashing about in and still looking a bit smart! Perfect!

What posing style? You mean looking grumpily at the camera with my hands on my hips and remembering to smile at the last minute?! I wish I could come up with a better one! ;-)

This is a very nice outfit! The blouse is perfect and I like the style very much – I had a look at the Wiksten pattern and the details is lovely. The fabric is wonderful and suits you so well ;) You did a great job with the skirt as well – and I love the color! So cute fish-buttons – and you shouldn’t hide them…! Lovely Beth!
