Purple Susan Blouse

Added Sep 17, 2007

by pinkhibiscus

Ithaca, New York...

No alterations…even kept the frills…I’m thinking of fixing the edges with liquid glue.
This was a pretty difficult project for me, with all the angles and details…took me 5x as much time as I had spent on other project! But completing a nice blouse really builds confidence!
And the nice fabric from Joann is so soft!

Material Notes

cotton shirting?

burdastyle for the pattern!

Wenstupen for the covered buttons inspiration.

It’s amazing how the choice of fabric decides whether you end up with “just another blouse” or, as in your case, a really, really lovely piece that’s a lot of fun to wear.
