Once again I traced a top I allready own and just winged it with the skirt part and the sleeves. Initially the sleeves were 3/4, but my sister said I looked like a Disney princess, so I shortened them. Also, something went a bit awry with the neckline – it’s too big and gapes. I haven’t figured out a way to make it better yet.

Material Notes

Cheap cotton. (I’m a student, I always buy cheap fabrics)

They don’t here either. What I meant was, the clothes you buy in department stores are made from really cheap material any way, so you can’t do any worse!

Very pretty! For the neckline, cut your trim a couple inches shorter than the length of the neckline and stretch the fabric to fit. That should get rid of any gaping!

Thanks for the advice! Will try that. Most of the time my projects stay unfinished coz I get stuck and don’t know how to fix it. Learning slowly though.

Cheap fabrics are awesome, no worse than the rubbish they sell in department stores!
