This is just the pattern I was looking for a long time. And it was so easy to sew this shirt! Thank you so much for sharing. :-)

Anyway, I was trying hard to upload some photos of the finished shirt, but on this new relaunched website there was no possibility to do so. I always got a pop-up with an error message. :-(

Hello Susiedoll, sorry.. i was on holiday and my english is not so good… the seam-allowance are not included in the pattern, so you can add extra. But I’m not expert…so you can test end improve the pattern. For the back longer.. you can equalize.
I love the neckline too !! sorry I can’t help more..
Have a nice time still !!

Well Patricia I have made your top in scrap fabric for a practice run and it is lovely. Thank you so much. I am going to buy fabric now. I have a couple of questions. 1) It is a little too tight round the chest for me – can I just add extra in the seam allowance? 2.) There is a fold over hem for the front neckline, but I don’t know how to deal with the back neckline? 3.) The front is longer than the back, so have I stuck the pattern together incorrectly? I did it by the numbers as stated. 4.) Do I add on a seam allowance in the armholes of the front and back too? I love the easy but classic style and the neckline is fabulous. Once I get it right I am going to make it lots!!!

When I put the correct pattern pieces together there is a gap of – maybe one inch of the paper that doesn’t have a drawn line on. Do I join up the lines, or join up the paper and then I draw the line to close and complete?? Sorry, does that makes sense to you!!!

Lovely pattern. Very simple and very classic. Thank you. Can you tell me – how much fabric does it take? And also is size 42 a French size?

..oh I don’t know how much fabric.. perhaps you can mesure it with the pattern… and it’s Swiss size 42 (european size).
      Have a nice day

How do the front pattern pieces go together, 3, 4, 5, 6-all in a row?

I think it says something like “Top with 3/4 sleeves and a simple cowl-neck (not sure about the neck though…) Size 42, seam-allowance not included in the pattern”. I wish my french was better too but at least I’m learning bit by (little) bit! Very nice top, je l’aime beacoup! It’s very 1950’s, Marilyn would have looked great in it… ;-)

Merci, Mme. Farve. I am sorry, but my French is minimal. I appreciate the time and effort you have put into sharing this design. Cordially, Nehmah
