Description

A while back I decided I needed a cute girly purse, and I happened upon the free and cute buttercup bag pattern (http://madebyrae.blogspot.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html). The pattern is very simple and quick, but my first attempt was rather lackluster. I didn’t use interfacing and it was significantly less cute with all my stuff in it. This is my second attempt and I modded the pattern a bit. This time I interfaced the outer fabric, expanded it a bit, adjusted the pleating and squared the bottom. And added rickrack because it’s awesome. Double plus bonus? I made it completely from remnants I had laying around.

When I’m unlazy, I will upload a step-by-step.

Haha. Well I’m going to have a pretty open weekend, so maybe I can get it scanned in.
