Description

This top was inspired by 1930’s halter tops which were worn with the era’s wide pyjama pants “beach” fashions. I re-fashioned an outdated border-print pillowcase from my stash on hand and turned it into this cool and comfy halter top. I cut off part of the wide hem on the border to make a snap-closing necktie and a belt, too! The neckline is folded in pleats for a more controlled gathered look. This is really cute and exactly like the top on the magazine cover. I’m saving a pillowcase for an up-cycle too.
