just a simplee skirt that i made from this cute cherry fabric. it was so cheap, and cute— couldnt resist! I did the button adjustment for the waistband for the first time, and it turned our looking very good ! I dislike elastic, so i just wanted to try the adjustment with button thing. (: i like this skirt ! <3 what do you think about it?

HOW CUTE! omgash. I think Im gonna make some of these sometime soon, so I’m not really sure, but just what did you exactly do with the buttons? Because I’m not a big fan of elastic or zippers for that matter :P

haha you should ! they’re so easy and fast to make. (: umm, okay let me try to make sense out of this. LOL well, i did the waistband as a seperate piece. basically you just sew it so it’s clean& neat. and then i just made the waistband a few inches longer & at the end of it, i attached a button loop.
but the skirt should be @ whatever your waist size is, and you attach one end of the skirt to the end of the waistband (end without the loop)
and when you finishsewing all that, there should be the few extra inches of your waistband, and oyou just … fit it accordingly to your waist. when you have the right fit, you kinda know where to put the button so when you actually attach it, it would fit you perfectly.

am i making any sense? ahha im sorry, i dont kno whow to explain without pictures ):
