Description

I made this awesome maxi skirt using leftover cotton and an old pair of jeans. Using my awesome rotary cutter I cut out 147 5″×5″ squares, although I onle needed to use 136. This project was a little time consuming, with the square cutting and attaching the rows, but using a serger for the entire thing was awesome. The serger made it go a lot faster than if I had used my sewing machine.

You can read abt the entire project on my blog

Seen this pattern before and it always looks so good…. It can look good with cottons but can also look good with velvets…….. It really is a pattern for all year round……..

Great skirt and I love how you used a pair of jeans to attach the patchwork base. Well done.
