Patchwork Handbag

Finally I made the perfect handbag for myself! The palette of brown-black-beige matches pretty much all my outfits, the patchwork makes it fancy, and it’s big enough to carry everything I need…
I’m very curious to know what you think of the pictures – it was the first try with my new photo setup.

I really love your photos. How did you get the lighting to be so perfect? and what kind of camera do you have? I have no experience in photography and would like a little help…maybe you could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

      Happy you like it :-)
Funny thing is that it turned out to be so simple! I spend a few hours with the manual of my CANON ixus 90 (a small and simple digital camera), focussing on the manual mode. Then I bought a piece of white floor coating, attached it to the wall and to a table on the balcony (it was a cloudy day, so I had good natural light, but no shadows), for the background and for bouncing the light back on the left side. Then I applied some of the things I had read in the manual, and had surprising effects! Hardly any editing needed.
I was never too much into photography, but like that it’s really fun…

I love this bag you did a great job! The bag and the photos look very professional. You managed to make something patchwork and still not “crafty homemade” good job.
