    your dress is gorgeous, i love that fabric. As for your sewing machine? i have the same problem here in northern ireland. finding someone to repair my machines yes plural lol is non excistant. I love vintage machines as they plow through thick and thin but i don’t shell out big money any more. I bought one on ebay and i paid over £80 with p@p. it stopped working, the seller sent me the foot pedel part but its still dos’nt work great. I now spend no more than £25 on one at car boots etc. i have about seven now lol x

      Thank you, Mary! Oh I know! It’s costing me a fortune to attempt getting the machine repaired — this was entirely an emotional choice, as the two of us have gone through so much together! In the meantime though, I’ve been enjoying getting to know my Singer 99k, and it’s been great! x
