I have a ready to wear that is the exact same style and color! I am going to download this pattern and whip up a couple this weekend. I have just been bemoaning the fact that I have no new cute summer bottoms. Thanks for the inspiration!

Omg that skirt is so cute on you!!!! I am very jealous!!!! I use to own a skirt just like that until one day an old women came up to me and told me how fantastic I looked even with the baby and then patted my stomach (ps I wasn’t pregnant nor was i even that fat… :( Needless to say I gave that skirt away the next day… so amd very ill that it looks awsome on you and apparently makes me look like i’m with child

Hi Heather! I know, what you mean. When I first tried my skirt on (after putting the pleats in place and sewing the sides together) I looked like a snowman or smth. So I obviously did have the same sort of buffyness around my waistline. I fixed it by taking the sides in quite a lot. There was nothing I could have done with the front and back pleats, but taking the sides in was obviously a good thing.
