I saw lace as a trend and of course I had to try my hand at it. However, I used a simple pattern because with lace, simplicity seems to work best. I used Burdastyle’s 6/2011 #106A pattern. Not hard at all. Of course, the pattern is great for practically any fabric. I like this blouse because I can use it at the office under a cardigan or a nice skirt for an evening out to dinner.

Thank you! You always make me feel confident with your nice comments. I think you’ll find it’s easy to work with lace as long as you have something underneath the sheerness of the fabric.

I love my cats too. Heidi and Chaba. They always patiently watch as I try to model my clothing.

      so does mine :-)
but before we get to the modelling stage, she likes to sit on my fabric, play with the thread on the machine ….. and so on ……..
