My white cotton blouse

Added Nov 11, 2010

by Adriana Orozco

San Pedro De Mon...

I had this lovely satin cotton to make a blouse, so when I took the time to make it, I already had in mind this design….the problem was that: there was not enough material!!! went fast to my box of materials and found a very old piece of cotton with satin cheks, and found a way to add it into my proyect. Here is the result. I wore it for a B-B-Q a couple of weeks ago, with my jeans and got lots of compliments. The roses are done on a separate cotton ribbon, so I can use them as part of the belt also, or just take them out completely.

Material Notes

100% cotton

They say necessity is the mother of invention and you just proved it. How clever of you to mix the two white fabrics. Love the effect. The finished project is so smart and contemporary. Another winner!

Hello Sewing Queen!!! thanks for your comment. Actually it looks very nice with the flowers attach to the belt, and with out them too, because is less dressy, and since I am a woman of “few” clothes, I like to make the most of all of them!! Best regards to you and your Minister husband.
