My version of a pencil skirt

This is my first attempt at any form of clothing ( well except for the skirt in year 7 textiles)..though I made a prototype first. I didn’t have a pattern but used a book called Sew What skirts, which explains how to make skirts without patterns..I copied the way the pleats are folded from another skirt I own (I couldn’t work it out at first)

Material Notes

I got the pleat from a fabric shop on ebay..

Nice! I like the pleat. I bought some fabric specifically for a pencil skirt but, hadn’t thought to put that pleat in.
